Stiftung Warentest took a close look at FFP2 children's masks. The result was sobering: none of the masks turned out to be recommendable.

Berlin – Masks are now part of everyday life in a pandemic. For children too. Stiftung Warentest has therefore taken a closer look at the FFP2 masks specially offered for children. The test result for the tested 15 models, which are available online, in pharmacies or retail outlets, was sobering.

The FFP2 masks, which are supposed to filter the aerosols from the air, have to be measured against certain DIN standards. Because if you wear a mask, you should get plenty of air underneath.
As reported by 24hamburg.de, the results of the breathing resistance tests of the Kimdermasken by Stiftung Warentest were terrifying, so that the tests were even canceled.
