Jakarta – At least three people were killed in floods in western Indonesia.

Almost 30,000 residents of Aceh province are on the run from the masses of water that have flooded more than 11,000 houses, said Abdul Muhari, spokesman for the national civil protection agency. 41 hectares of rice fields are also affected.
