The era of SUVs is here to stay, but it must coexist with other historical segments such as compact cars. The SUV boom has affected their sales, cannibalizing registrations within their own brands. However, some drivers are still betting on conventional bodies, which offer advantages related to driving sensations. For that reason, and luckily, we can continue to talk about updating models like the Ford Focus . The oval firm has presented the restyling of the fourth generation of this best seller, which has competed and competes with untouchables such as the Seat León, Peugeot 308, Volkswagen Golf, Mazda3 or Renault Mégane, among many others. The changes compared to the 2018 model are obvious, with aesthetic improvements but also a notable evolution in the mechanical and technological equipment section.

It is common for firms to update, slightly, the models in their equator. Three years after its official presentation, the Focus is shown to the world with a facelift very similar to that of the Ford Fiesta. These changes will be available on its five-door and wagon bodywork, which include Titanium, ST-Line and Active finishes. Without overlooking, far from it, the new Focus ST, the version prepared by Ford Performance with a plus of power and nods to the sporting essence of the firm.

The image of the new Focus is more stylized, with a clear tendency to maturity and sophistication that accompanies the compact segment. We see some sharp headlamps, with LED technology throughout the range and fog lights integrated into this same block. It also has a new grill, similar to the one presented in the Fiesta and with the logo in the center of the grille. The rear features redesigned pilots with a very attractive depth effect.

Just as eye-catching as the new 12.3-inch horizontal screen, one of the great advances in the cabin, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay . A step forward that should be matched with a greater efficiency of its propellants, which offer 48 V Mild Hybrid technology. We will tell you more in the next gallery.
