VW company restaurant soon meat-free

Schröder’s preference for currywurst is known

The fact that Schröder has a preference for currywurst has been known since the 1990s, when he was still married to Hiltrud “Hillu” Schröder. In 2002, as Chancellor, he inaugurated a US president into German food culture: he ordered currywurst and apple strudel for George W. Bush from “Theodor Tucher” on Pariser Platz.
