The Formula 1 World Championship qualification tightens after Lewis Hamilton’s victory in the Brazilian GP. The seven-time champion, who had not climbed to the top of the podium since Russia, rallied from 10th to claim his sixth win of the season.
After the Formula 1 Brazilian GP, Max Verstappen , who was second, had his advantage over Hamilton reduced in the World Championship to 14 points . Still, he remains at the top of the rankings. Mercedes also remains at the top of the classification of the Constructors’ World Cup, which arrived in Sao Paulo with a 1 point advantage over Red Bull and leaves with 11 . This is due, in addition to the victory of Lewis Hamilton, to the third place won by Valtteri Bottas . Sergio Pérez , meanwhile, saved a point for his team after setting the fastest lap of the race.
The Formula 1 Brazilian GP has also helped Ferrari to consolidate itself in third place in the Constructors’ World Championship standings. Outside of this, the Brazilian Formula 1 GP Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen , George Russell and Antonio Giovinazzi finished. After Tsunoda were Nicholas Latifi , Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher . In addition to Ricciardo, Lance Stroll also did not finish the race in Sao Paulo.
