MotoGP ends its preseason after concluding the third and last day of official tests in Mandalika. The pilots leave the Indonesian circuit to set course for the first round of the year, scheduled for March 6 in Qatar.
Pol Espargaró was the fastest rider in Sunday’s session, a day in which both he and his teammate showed a clear improvement in the potential of the RC213V. Behind the rider from Granollers we find the reigning world champion, Fabio Quartararo, who was 14 thousandths behind the Spaniard.

In third place, on the Aprilia, was Aleix Espargaró, who would close the podium of a hypothetical race in Lombok. Both he and his brother leave the street circuit feeling good after 72 hours of action on the track.
During this day, both drivers and teams have tried to lower the times and make the most of the last day of pre-season testing, where Franco Morbidelli has been one of the fastest drivers on the street circuit. The Yamaha rider prevailed over Pecco Bagnaia on an asphalt characterized by problems from dirt and dust.
Alex Rins, Maverick Viñales, Johann Zarco, Brad Binder and Alex Márquez have been, respectively, in charge of closing the top ten of this last day of official pre-season teas in Mandalika.
Although they have not been as critical as they were on Friday and Saturday, the track conditions have once again called into question the debut circuit on the MotoGP calendar. Now, the championship paddock is heading for the opening round of the season, held in Qatar on March 6.
