Formula 1 will visit the city of Miami for the first time for the dispute of a new grand prix on American soil next weekend from May 6 to 8. Miami has almost everything ready to host the highest category of motorsports on a 5.41 kilometer track around the spectacular Hard Rock Stadium, where 57 laps will be covered to find out the first winner of the event.

There are still very important things missing from a circuit, such as the curbs or the protections, but there is already a glimpse of what will be one of the most impressive and complex tracks on the calendar, with many stands to welcome a large mass of fans eager to see the heroes who discovered, mostly, through the Netflix series , ‘Drive to Survive’.
One of the reasons why Formula 1 will hold a race in Miami, in addition to the logical commercial interest in the area, is the exponential increase in the number of followers of the category in the United States, a country that will have another appointment in 2023 with the GP from Las Vegas for a total of three. At the Austin event last year, nearly 400,000 people flocked to the Texas track to enjoy a day of Formula 1, so it is obvious that Liberty Media wanted to grow this with more races on North American soil.
