After many weeks of waiting, the presentations are always a special moment for fans, teams, drivers and, in general, all the people who surround the Great Circus. However, the first images of a new car on the asphalt before reaching the preseason are always the most anticipated and desired.

Having the opportunity to see the car on the track always allows you to see more details and, above all, to have a much clearer picture of what the car will look like when it comes time to compete against its rivals on a circuit.

The first team to put its 2022 Formula 1 car on the track was Aston Martin with the AMR22 of Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll, while the second to do so, although through renderings and not with the real car, has been AlphaTauri with the AT03 that Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda will drive during the season that will start on the weekend of March 20 at the Sakhir circuit, home of the Bahrain GP.

AlphaTauri opted for the Imola circuit, a layout that they usually visit to do their private tests due to its proximity to the team’s factory in Faenza, but unlike other occasions, the images were a virtual montage and not real.

Ignoring that, in this way, the team managed to capture a series of “real” photographs that gave a first impression of how the car will look on the track, something that through simple renders or presentations is very complicated to Imagine for all the factors that come into play once the car is on the asphalt.

Despite not being a real image yet, the reflection of the sun and other details of the environment impact Gasly and Tsunoda ‘s AT03 very well, offering a clear image of what we can see in a few weeks, specifically on February 23 in the first day of preseason at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya.
