He has already set a number of records on the slackline: Alexander Schulz now showed in New Delhi how free he is from giddiness.

New Delhi – At a height of 30 meters, the German Alexander Schulz walked over a slackline in front of the Red Fort palace in India's capital New Delhi. The record slackliner from Bavaria ran at an event hosted by the German embassy to mark 75 years of India's independence. Also a slackliner and a slackliner from India were there.

Schulz is already in the Guinness Book of Records for slacklining. In 2020 he ran together with the Brazilian Rafael Zugno Bridi on the longest slackline over an active volcano. The slackline was 261 meters long and 42 meters high above Mount Yasur on the island state of Vanuatu in the South Pacific, which erupted from time to time.

In 2021 he ran the longest slackline blindfolded. It was 1.7 kilometers long and 800 meters high above the Cañón del Sumidero in Mexico. According to his website, Schulz has been concentrating entirely on slacklining since graduating from high school in 2011. dpa
