At Gut Skaugum, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon organized a banquet under the motto “Life after July 22nd” for those affected by the Utøya attacks.

Skaugum – With their event in the tenth year after the tragedy on the Norwegian island of Utøya, the Crown Prince and the Norwegian Princess are sending a message of hope to the world.
At Gut Skaugum, the crown prince couple invited to a meeting under the motto “Life after July 22nd”, reveals 24royal.de *.

After the poignant ceremonies on the occasion of the 10th anniversary * of the right-wing extremist attacks, in which 77 people lost their lives, Mette-Marit (48) and Haakon (48) wanted to look ahead. With 40 invited guests, who were differently affected by the terrorist act, there was the opportunity to talk about things and to cope with them.

The crown prince couple has held such a banquet every year since 2004, with a different focus. In spring 2012 the question was how one can go on living after a traumatic experience. With this year’s gathering, the Crown Prince couple wanted to focus on what gives hope for the future after the trauma.

In his speech, Crown Prince Haakon * found words that went straight to the heart: “Life has gone its crooked, good, difficult path. Some of you survived. Others lost someone. Some of you both. Some of you have been involved and helped; others have worked to process and tell the story so that we can understand more and never forget ”. The most important thing is that those affected tell their story. * 24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
