That went quickly: within a few hours, Wilhelmsburg music organizers set up a fundraising campaign for the flood disaster area of Ahrweiler.

Rock 'n Roll goes benefit: The event professionals Lars Vegas Ide from Rock n' Roll Hamburg, Mario Stramm and Timo Meinen from Tourhafen, WilhelmsRock and Rock 'n Roll Trucking started a grandiose relief effort. An overwhelming willingness to donate from Hamburgers who wanted to help the victims of the flood disaster was the result of the appeal of the “Hamburg United” initiative on Instagram and Facebook.

Within a few hours, pallets of drinking water, medicine and food, children's toys, shovels, tools and hygiene products came together. The ready-made rock'n roll 40-ton truck rolled out of the yard in Wilhelmsburg yesterday evening fully loaded.

The flood disaster hit the district of Ahrweiler (Rhineland-Palatinate) particularly hard. The relief operation is intended to benefit the flood victims in the affected region. * A follow-up initiative is already planned. * 24hamburg.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
