Hamilton reappears on social networks: "I'm back!"

0

After almost two months of inactivity on social media after losing the 2021 Formula 1 World Cup to Max Verstappen, Hamilton has finally returned to both Twitter and Instagram , where he has posted a photo along with a message with a statement of intent: ” I’m gone. Now I’m back!”

The image that Hamilton has published is in the Grand Canyon of Colorado , United States, a country that the seven-time champion visits very often and where he had already been photographed weeks ago.

The previous message from Lewis Hamilton, a driver very active on social networks even in periods without races, was from Saturday of the final Abu Dhabi GP , where he declared himself ready for battle, “strong and focused”. However, after his anger at the outcome of the last appointment of F1 2021, where he could not add his eighth title, he remained silent and spent almost two months without publishing anything, from December 11 to February 5.

In addition to the ‘blackout’ on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, Hamilton decided not to attend to the media at the Yas Marina circuit, and then skipped the FIA awards gala, which is required by regulation.

While from Mercedes they raised their voices considering the result of the last world race unfair, their star driver was silent and did not speak out on social networks, where he never misses the opportunity to express his opinion or denounce anything he considers to be in need of vindication. .

His obvious anger and that attitude gave rise to all kinds of speculation and rumours, and once again the possibility of withdrawal was raised in the air. Hamilton has a contract with Mercedes for this course and for 2023 after renewing last July, but many considered that his dissatisfaction with the premier class when considering that the FIA stole a championship that he had in his hand would weigh more than what was signed.

He has finally returned, as he himself indicates, and although his photo is of tourism and disconnection and there is no trace of Formula 1 or Mercedes in his publication, no one indicates that he will not be at the presentation of the Mercedes W13 on February 18 nor of course in the tests that start at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 23.
