The Sơn Đoòng Grotto is in Vietnam and is the largest cave in the world. It is hidden in the jungle of Phong Nha-Ke National Park, about 59 kms from Dong Hol. It has the tallest known stalagmites in the world, which can be up to 70 meters high.
There are no caving expeditions during the monsoon, because the caves can suddenly fill up with rains, so the best time to see this impressive cave is from February to October.
