Thousands upon thousands of companies and citizens are helping to help the flood victims in Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. Lidl is also participating and donating 10 million euros.

After the flood disaster in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, the clean-up work is in full swing. Helpers and emergency services come from all over Germany to help those affected and to clear the houses and streets of mud and debris. In addition, all those who cannot make their contribution on site donate thousands upon thousands of euros, clothing and aids.

Large companies such as Lidl, Opel, OBI and Co. are now making their contribution. While aid organizations in the affected regions can pick up shovels and other material free of charge from Germany's largest DIY chain Obi and Opel provides a free replacement vehicle to all those who have lost their car in the floods, Lidl is donating ten million euros. * 24hamburg.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
