The Repsol Honda Team will present the new and long-awaited HRC prototype through a virtual event on February 8, just after the shakedown and the first preseason tests have finished. The confirmation has come through a post from the team on their social networks, putting an end to the fans’ wait after announcing the date of the presentation, but not its time.

Marc Márquez and Pol Espargaró will be in charge of presenting the 2022 RC213V together with the Repsol Honda Team at a conference that will start on February 8 at 12:00 (CET). This is the penultimate coming-out of the season, pending confirmation of the presentation date of the newcomer to the championship, Mooney VR46 Team.

The presentation can be followed through our website and the team’s social networks, making a video available to fans from which the Spanish duo of HRC will present their expectations for the coming season.

This Saturday will be the premiere for Márquez with the latest version of the RC213V, as the Catalan, who did test a first version in Misano, was unable to attend the November tests due to his diplopia, the double vision problem that has kept the de Cervera absent for several weeks.

The eighth champion finished 2021 from seventh position helping, as far as possible, his team to enter fourth place in the constructors’ world championship. The Japanese structure finished the course behind Suzuki and ahead of KTM. For his part, Pol Espargaró continues to adapt to the prototype that kept him 12th overall in the championship.

In this way, HRC holders will put all the information collected during 2021 into action to start a new season capable of giving them the opportunity to get the crown they have been chasing for two years.
