Düsseldorf – A horse collapsed dead during a rifle parade in Düsseldorf in the afternoon. “There was a lot of traffic because the animal had to be taken away,” the police said. Several roads have been closed.
The animal hit its head on the asphalt and died, West German Broadcasting (WDR) reported online. According to the police, a veterinarian was on site. The horse was lifted using a fire brigade crane and placed in a container. dpa
