Since the super license was implemented in Formula 1, all drivers are exposed to being sanctioned with missing a grand prix if they equal or exceed 12 penalty points in a period less than the last 12 months.
The 2021 Formula 1 season has had many incidents and therefore quite controversial, which has led to many drivers being sanctioned by the stewards with the loss of points on their super licenses.
In the list shown below, Yuki Tsunoda leads with eight points, ahead of Sergio Pérez and Max Verstappen with seven, remaining just four away from receiving a penalty that would force him not to participate in the next grand prix with respect to moment in which you have accumulated the maximum number of points allowed by the regulations.
Looking at the list, it is also very striking that up to four pilots; Daniel Ricciardo, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Mick Schumacher have finished the 2021 season without any penalty points on their accounts.
