Weight is the most important factor in a single-seater and it was common to see drivers make demanding diets to adjust to the limits imposed by the FIA. However, that is no longer the case, since the highest body has imposed since 2019 a mark of 80 kilos for the driver + seat, and if they do not arrive, a ballast must be added to the car so that nobody takes advantage of their physical or force looking for the limit.

This list can vary, since the pilots change their status during the season itself, gaining muscle or losing fat, but this is a current list, where the difference between the heaviest and the lightest is 20 kilos. Find out who they are and the weight of all the drivers of the 2022 Formula 1 season.

We review the weight of the 2022 Formula drivers (in kilos)

  • Alex Albon: 74 kilos
  • Nicholas Latifi: 73 kilos
  • Lewis Hamilton: 73 kilos
  • Carlos Sainz: 72 kilos
  • Lance Stroll: 70 kilos
  • Pierre Gasly: 70 kilos
  • Valtteri Bottas: 69 kilos
  • Lando Norris: 68 kilos
  • Nikita Mazepin: 68 kilos
  • Fernando Alonso: 68 kilos
  • George Russell: 68 kilos
  • Mick Schumacher: 67 kilos
  • Max Verstappen: 67 kilos
  • Esteban Ocon: 66 kilos
  • Daniel Ricciardo: 66 kilos
  • Charles Leclerc: 65 kilos
  • Sergio Perez: 63 kilos
  • Guanyu Zhou: 63 kilos
  • Sergio Perez: 63 kilos
  • Sebastian Vettel: 62 kilos
  • Yuki Tsunoda: 54 kilos
