How to become a man or a woman with FaceApp

0

How would you see yourself as a person of the opposite gender? The FaceApp facial transformation application is once again a trend, but this time related to the change of gender for photographs on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The application, one of the most popular photo apps on the networks, is available for free, so the gender change in portraits has no cost.

The free version has ads , but users can pay more to access more filters or remove the company watermark.

Although there are many applications that allow us to change our appearance, few do it as well and modify the genre in such a realistic way as FaceApp. And at the push of a button.

Although some functions are blocked for being paid and you may not be able to do everything you want to do with FaceApp, the simplest and most effective is free.

Download FaceApp

You can find the FaceApp application on both Android and iOS; you can download it directly from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You must download it like any other application and you may have to enter the password or register the fingerprint to download it.

Once inside the application, the FaceApp interface is easy to use and will allow us to edit both the newly taken selfie photos and the older photographs that we already have inside our phone.

Doing either is simple to do from the FaceApp home screen. You can select a photo by pressing ‘All photos’ at the bottom of the screen or align the face up to take an image within the application’s camera.

The selected image will start in a filter called Original, but if you scroll to the right, you will see options like Smile, Smile 2, Spark, Old, Young, Female, and Male. These last two options are the ones that are being most in demand these days: the possibility of changing gender at the click of a button. The gender “converter” has an option to emphasize gender. Select male or female and automatically within the Gender tab, pressing Editor, the app will process the image on its own servers (where it will remain for a maximum of 48 hours). Then you will have the option to save the result to share it wherever you want.

If you scroll to the left, you will also find options to make GIFs and collages of the photos so that you can display multiple edited images together in a single photo to share.

We must remember that the photo processing applied by FaceApp is not done on the phone since the images are uploaded to the company’s servers, with the doubts about privacy that this entails. You must take this into account when using the application.

FaceApp has already more than 100 million downloads on Google Play with a very high average of positive ratings: 4.7 stars for more than 2.5 million opinions.
