The same modern legend is circulating about a Kaufland branch as about many supermarkets in Germany.
The story one reader told sounds incredible. He had found out about it from a friend whose acquaintance had been shopping at the Kaufland branch near Schwäbisch Gmünd at the beginning of the week. There she saw a man who she knew was currently infected with Corona and had to be in quarantine. They reported this to the store management, which in turn informed them via a loudspeaker announcement that an infected customer was in the store. He should report to the store management immediately, otherwise the branch would have to be closed and the vaccination records of all those present would have to be checked.
