Kahl am Main – There was a serious accident at a campsite right on the border with Hesse on Wednesday evening. At Kahler See (Aschaffenburg district), an infant apparently suffered severe burns after a home accident. This is reported by the 5Vision portal.
First, the lifeguards of the Bavarian Red Cross immediately rushed to help, and a little later a rescue helicopter flew the baby to a hospital. The background to the incident immediately east of Großkrotzenburg (Main-Kinzig district) is still unclear. (esa)
