Its quintessential all-rounder, especially for those who like to show off a robust and capable 4×4, is switching to plug-in hybrid technology. Of course, it does so while maintaining its off-road essence with 4×4 traction, driving modes for the most complicated sections and 380 hp of maximum power with the electric torque that we have told you so many wonders about. It is, therefore, more powerful, technological and ecological than ever, with what this means for lovers of this model, who often use it to venture among the most inhospitable and unsuspected mountains. Of course, the introduction of electrification has its cost, starting with the one that affects the buyer’s pocket, with a launch price of 68,900 euros for the access model .
This new Jeep plug-in hybrid will be easily identifiable by the blue details on its body and interior. It will be available in three trim levels ( Sahara 4xe, Rubicon 4xe and the exclusive special edition 80th Anniversary 4xe ), with two 4×4 systems and two types of alloy wheels, 17 and 18 inches. As for the exterior tones, there will be up to 10 colors available but we can also choose between the different roof configurations: soft, rigid, electric soft and flysheet.
Aesthetically, the Wrangler is a 4×4 that conquers the urban public. What’s more, you will probably see it circulating through the wealthiest neighborhoods of our country. Families that will benefit from the PHEV system thanks to the combination of the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine or together with the two electric blocks, which together deliver 380 hp of maximum power and 637 Nm . In short, it is an improvement in performance until achieving an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.4 seconds , something that translates into better off-road capabilities.
