TV personality Domenico de Cicco had his hair implanted – now he had everything removed in a clinic and appears on Instagram.
Dortmund – Domenico de Cicco is now known from several TV formats. In 2019 he took part in the “Jungle Camp”, before that in “Bachelor in Paradise” (2018) and in 2017 in “Bachelorette”. Two of his trademarks: a full head of hair and a big grin.

Now the 38-year-old dared to take a big step for him and made it clear in public: That wasn’t his real hair. “I struggled with it for years,” he admits in his Instagram stories. And further: “It’s really difficult for me.” Then he takes off his cap in the clip and shows that he only has very little hair left. He also shows a section from a private clinic where his implanted hair is being removed. “Yes, I wore a hairpiece. I had very light hair and was ashamed of it. That was a very stressful topic for me, ”said de Cicco. So he had around 12,000 hairs implanted at the time, and the whole thing took nine hours. Now the wrong hair is gone again.

That this is now public is a great relief for him, as he writes under an Instagram picture: “A new chapter in my life begins today!” And further: “I suffered from my hair for years. There was always speculation, news and people who said, ‘This is a toupee’. A lot of people spoke badly, insulted me and that was very, very stressful for me for years. My hair secret is finally out! I am so relieved and happy that I finally have no more secrets! “
De Cicco also wants to encourage others with his change: “Don’t be afraid, everyone can change something if you want!” He concludes.
