Google Glass may be taking a break from the real world. But its usefulness in the museum is still being explored in a display at the deYoung Museum in San Francisco . Through February 16, visitors to Keith Haring: The Political Line can discover more about the 130 works on display through an interactive viewing experience with Google Glass. Visitors are invited to register to use Google Glass before going to the exhibition.

Nelson Rockefeller’s Picassos: Tapestries Commissioned for Kykuit will be on display at the San Antonio Museum of Art through March 8, 2015. This is the first time these large tapestries have been displayed outside of Rockefeller’s New York property.

Baltimore’s premier art museum, The Walters Art Museum, currently presents From Rye to Raphael: The Walters Story. This exhibition of more than 200 items chronicles the assembly of the collection that the Walters family bequeathed to the city in 1931.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art was one of the first museums in the United States to collect African American art. Now, the museum is putting together pieces from its entire collection to put together Represent: 200 Years of African American Art. From January 10 to April 5, the exhibition will showcase paintings, sculptures, photographs and other works by artists such as Henry Ossawa Tanner, Kara Walker and Jacob Lawrence.

On January 31, The Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut will reopen its renovated galleries of postwar and contemporary art, which include works by Cindy Sherman, Sol LeWitt, Andy Warhol and others, in addition to introducing a new exhibition space. First in the latter will be Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland 1861-2008, on display until May 31.

The Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with a major exhibition from February 10 to July 6. A video preview of the exhibition is available here.

Irreverent: A celebration of censorship will premiere at the Leslie Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art (the only museum of its kind in the US). The New York City Museum will display previously censored works by LGBQT artists such as Robert Mapplethorpe and David Wojnarowicz. February 13-May 3.
