The KTM team is ready for 2022. This has been demonstrated in its virtual presentation, an event that started at 10:00 (Spanish time) and has had the participation of its satellite structure, the Tech3 team .
As usual in the Austrian team, KTM has revealed the design of its RC16 at the same time, resulting in a scenario starring the official prototypes and satellites of the Austrian factory. This presentation has been guided by KTM cards for 2022: Miguel Oliveira, Brad Binder and newcomers to the premier class Remy Gardner and Raúl Fernández.
The team’s 2022 designs have been exposed in a four-minute video, in which the voiceover of the riders has entered the scene as the common thread of the team’s new bikes. During these minutes we have been able to appreciate the attractive orange colors of the official RC16 , as well as the prominent aesthetics of the Tech3 machines.
In this way, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing welcomes its new team manager Francesco Guidotti and receives one more season figures like Dani Pedrosa and Mika Kallio, leading the development of the KTM RC16 as protagonists in the test field.
KTM faces its sixth year in MotoGP with the participation of Tech3 KTM Factory Racing. Both teams will pool their talents to take the RC16 to the top of the podium in the longest season in the championship.
For the moment, KTM is heading for the pre-season tests, scheduled for the next 5 and 6 February in Sepang. Later, in Mandalika, all the riders on the MotoGP grid will participate in the second day of official tests, preparations to raise the curtain on the course on March 6 in Qatar.
