Two men from the Leipzig area attacked a bouncer on Mallorca in 2019. They have now been sentenced to a suspended sentence and heavy pain and suffering.

Palma (AP) – A court in Mallorca has convicted two Germans for a brutal attack on a doorman from Senegal. You will now have two years in prison on probation and compensation for pain and suffering totaling 150,000 euros, as the judge said at the short hearing.

The probation period was therefore set to five years. The two young men from the Leipzig area are no longer allowed to enter the Balearic Islands. The prosecution and defense agreed on this before the trial began.

The defendants were connected to the trial from Germany via video. The indictment charged the two, who are said to come from the neo-Nazi and hooligan scene, with serious assault. The attack in June 2019 was for racist motives. The public prosecutor originally demanded 13 years imprisonment.
