Marc Márquez faces an exciting race at home this weekend. This Sunday the MotoGP Grand Prix of Catalonia will be held, which will be the first in Europe to allow the public to enter. Marc is coming off two consecutive crashes at Le Mans and Mugello, although in the first he crashed while leading the race. Márquez has only been off the podium once in the seven times he has run (two first, three seconds and a third). The podium seems a bit far but Marc has shown that when forces are equalized it is able to compete at the same level as everyone, as seen at Le Mans. For now, his objective remains the same as that of the last races, to continue making progress in his recovery and to see how the pain in his shoulder evolves.The Cervera driver wants to forget the last two crashes with a good result at home that helps him take a step forward in his recovery, and allows him to face the following races with another face. So far his best performance has been a seventh in Portugal. In Jerez he finished ninth but crossed the checkered flag less than the first classified. Little by little he is recovering sensations and this Sunday can be a point and apart if he manages to leave Barcelona with good sensations.
