The trial of longtime confidante of the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein begins in New York. The 59-year-old is accused of recruiting minors.
New York – Ghislaine Maxwell, longtime partner of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is on trial in New York on Monday (November 29, 2021). The 59-year-old is charged with recruiting minors for sexual acts with Epstein. Ghislaine Maxwell is said to have placed job advertisements “during the school holidays”.
These should accept phone calls, i.e. work as an assistant. The advertisements were published in January 1997 in newspapers in Palm Beach Florida, where Epstein owned a mansion. Interested parties were given a telephone number under which they could contact “Miss Maxwell”. The phone number is the same as the one she gave to police in the United States during a traffic offense at that time. At that time she lived in the “House of Sin” of her former friend Epstein in Palm Beach.
Ghislaine Maxwell pleads innocent on six counts
On the eve of the Maxwell Child Trafficking Trial for the American pedophile financier, details of the job advertisements were leaked in the Palm Beach Post. Maxwell has pleaded not guilty on six counts. Including seduction of minors and trafficking in children between 1994 and 2004. If convicted, she faces up to 80 years in prison.

Jeffrey Epstein: Maxwell recruited young girls for sexual massages at Epstein
An Epstein prosecutor named Johanna Sjoberg testified in 2016 that Maxwell hired her to give Epstein massages in 2001 while she was in college in Palm Beach. Sjoberg says she felt she was hired as a personal assistant. She quickly found that her job was to give Epstein “sexual massages”. Sjoberg said he had told her that he had to have at least “three orgasms a day”.
When asked about her first meeting with Maxwell, Sjoberg said, “She wanted to know if there was a bulletin board or something where she could post an ad that she was looking for someone.” “I told her where to go to to place an ad. Then she asked me if I knew anyone who was interested in working for her. “
Maxwell wanted young girls
According to Sjoberg, Maxwell said she lived in Palm Beach and didn’t want butlers because they were too stiff. And because of that, she just likes to hire girls to work around the house, answer phones, get drinks, and do the job of a butler.
According to court documents, Maxwell encouraged her at another encounter to “finish the job” while giving Epstein a massage. Sjoberg claims she was punished when Epstein failed to orgasm as a result of one of her massages. This, according to Maxwell, is necessary because she herself is not able to please Epstein as he needs it and that would be the reason why there were other girls.

The then photography student describes how she was reprimanded by Maxwell. “She bought a camera for me and I was over there giving Jeffrey a massage. I didn’t know at first that she had this camera. When asked if that meant bringing him to orgasm, she replied yes, she had indicated that it was why she had to do it herself.
Epstein victim: Prince Andrew grabbed her breasts with a doll

Maxwell apparently posted the job advertisements a year after a rape incident. Epstein and Maxwell allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl named Annie Farmer, one of four alleged victims who are alleged to testify against the British celebrity.
Farmer’s sister asked the FBI to investigate Epstein back in 1996 – without success
In 1996, the sister of the alleged rape victim tried to persuade the police and the FBI to investigate Epstein – without success. So Epstein and Maxwell could go about their deeds unmolested. Farmer, who waived her right to anonymity, testified in court that Maxwell was a “sex offender” who had “never shown remorse.”
Her testimony was one of the key factors in moving the judge to deny Maxwell’s bail and keep her in a New York jail cell until the trial begins. She spent 17 months in this prison cell in what her brother described as “humiliating” and “torture-like”.
New York: Ghislaine Maxwell sets aside over 6.1 million euros for her defense
In court documents, Maxwell made public that she had set aside a staggering 6.1 million euros to pay for her legal fees. Her team of star defense lawyers includes a former federal attorney who helped bring down a drug lord and another former federal attorney.
They will face the distinguished US attorney’s office for the southern borough of New York, with a team of attorneys who, in turn, have a good track record of running high-profile cases.
Prosecutors will focus on four women who claim they were recruited by Maxwell as teenagers and abused by Epstein. Epstein was charged with maintaining a ring for the sexual exploitation of minors. In August 2019, he was found dead in his cell. (Lukas Zigo)
