MotoGP: Mediaset will broadcast the Aragon and San Marino GP openly

The Italian communication group recovers the broadcast of the motorcycling grand prix open after having broadcast the entire World Championship from 2012 to 2016, when Movistar+ took over.

When DAZN acquired the exclusive rights for the entire MotoGP season in 2019, Mediaset reached an agreement to broadcast the grand prix of Argentina and Valencia openly on Telecinco .

Last year, it was RTVE who reached an agreement with the promoters of the championship to offer the Styrian and Aragon grand prix live, as well as a summary of the rest of the calendar events.

Mediaset already broadcasts this year the summaries of the MotoGP races through the Be Mad channel. The Aragon GP , at the MotorLand Circuit, can be followed in the open from September 10 to 12 , while the San Marino GP , in Misano, will be held a week later, from September 17 to 19 .

At the moment no further details have emerged, so it is not known if all the training sessions can be seen, which team of commentators will be in charge, or on which channel it can be seen, although Telecinco would be the favorite. Similarly, DAZN will broadcast these two tests through its platform on demand, like the rest of the 2021 season.

Telecinco already broadcast this year the Spanish F1 GP openly, being the first time that Spanish fans had the opportunity to watch a race for free since the Barcelona event in 2017.

KTM is expected to soon announce Dani Pedrosa’s participation in the San Marino GP, three years after hanging up the suit. There, Valentino Rossi could also announce his future plans for 2022.
