A train hits two sheep in the Bavarian town of Tapfheim, a third escapes with his life – and does not want to leave the side of his dead fellow sheep. The police show compassion.
Tapfheim – A young sheep probably couldn’t be moved from the train tracks in Swabia out of grief and had to be carried away by the police.
A police spokesman said it did not want to leave the side of its two conspecifics who were killed by a train in Tapfheim at the beginning of the week. A policeman took the animal on his shoulders because it could not be lured away.
It was not known who owned the sheep. It has now found shelter at a nearby farm. dpa
