As usual in recent times, the Japanese Honda rider was very fast in Sunday’s morning session, a Warm Up that was held in very cold conditions but with a dry track, which led Takaaki Nakagami to go down the time to 1.32.879, quicker than the pole time set by Pecco Bagnaia on Saturday (1.33.045) in drying wet track conditions. The Italian from Ducati was, precisely, the second in the Warm Up, ahead of Jack Miller, who was third and will accompany him on the front row of the grid for the race.
Franco Morbidelli, who is still recovering from the operation on his knee, was fourth, ahead of Iker Lecuona, very active all weekend and first KTM, Alex Márquez, Pol Espargaró, Johannb Zarco and Marc Márquez, who was ninth and last Honda on the time sheet, closing the top 10 Joan Mir, who will start the race very late
With the Ducati looking strong while waiting to try to extend the definition of the championship in favor of Fabio Quartararo, the Frenchman finished 11th, ahead of the KTM duo with Brad Binder and Miguel Oliveira. Alex Rins was 16th, ahead of Jorge Martín, with Maverick Viñales 19th, beating Valentino Rossi and Aleix Espargaró.
