New Corona rules in Hamburg: Where the mask requirement will no longer apply from March 20th

The federal government's new Infection Protection Act has eliminated the obligation to wear masks in many places. It will remain on the bus and train, and in Hamburg also in schools.

Hamburg – The federal government’s new Infection Protection Act eliminates the obligation to wear masks in many areas of life. The law is scheduled to come into force on March 20 and can be implemented flexibly by the state governments.
24hamburg.de reveals here what the new Corona rules mean for Hamburg and how the Hanseatic city could implement the law.

On the one hand, the obligation to wear masks in supermarkets and shops and in some schools should be eliminated. In Hamburg, however, they want to stick to the obligation to wear masks and tests for schoolchildren for the time being. The only exceptions are music and theater classes. Masks are still compulsory on buses and trains.

However, the new loosening should be enjoyed with caution. If the incidence figures in a federal state skyrocket so much that hospital care is endangered, the state governments can immediately reintroduce tougher measures with the hotspot regulation. The new Infection Protection Act is initially valid until September 23. * 24hamburg.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
