Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman (54) and her Spanish colleague Javier Bardem (52) can be seen in the first trailer for the film “Being the Ricardos” as TV stars of the 1950s.
Los Angeles – Amazon Studios released the video on Tuesday (local time) with Kidman in the role of American comedy icon Lucille Ball and Bardem as her husband Desi Arnaz. You were the stars of the hit sitcom “I Love Lucy” about the everyday life of an ordinary married couple.
The film by director and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin (“The Social Network”) looks at their success and their problems. Ball married the Cuban musician Arnaz in 1940. The marriage broke up after 20 years. The two children of the deceased ex-couple are involved in the production of the biopic. The cinema release is planned for mid-December in the USA, and “Being the Ricardos” will be published on Amazon Prime Video. dpa
