Football fans are in luck. If a few days ago it was EA who lowered the price of ‘ FIFA 09′ to 29.95 euros in its most expensive edition, now it is Konami who does the same with its ‘ PES 2009 by lowering it to the “Platinum” price next week .
As can be read in the company’s release list, the PS2, PSP , PS3, PC and X360 versions will drop in price next week, although it is not yet known to what exactly. I imagine that the version for PS3 and X360 will drop to 29.95 and those for PSP , PC and PS2 to 19.95, but this is nothing more than personal assumption.
Obviously the version for Wii, which is about to come out of the oven, will not be affected by this price reduction by Konami, so do not be surprised if you go to a store and all the ‘ PES 2009′ are reduced less the Wii.
Remember that ‘ PES 2009′ came out last October for all the aforementioned consoles and that this time it has garnered more negative than positive reviews, basically due to the stagnation of the saga, with no improvements, no news or great incentives for the player ; and indirectly and involuntarily converting ‘ FIFA 09′ into the best football alternative this season.
For the next ‘ PES 2010 ‘ the batteries have already been put in Konami, and they promise that their game will once again occupy the throne that these years has corresponded to it.
