Phantom Abyss is Devolver's new craze, and it seems the result of a night of passion between Tomb Raider and Fall Guys.

The Devolver Digital cracks are about to take a new game out of the oven and, as is usual at the firm, it looks as crazy as it is striking. Under the name of Phantom Abyss comes what seems to be the most logical response to the success of Fall Guys.

With a race to the death to the finish line but using asynchronous multiplayer instead of the usual, Phantom Abyss will invite us to explore lost temples while dodging swinging hammers, spikes that come out of the ground and rotating platforms to send us to the darkest of the depths.

To the basic actions such as jumping and sliding we must add the use of a whip that, in the purest Indiana Jones style, will help us anchor ourselves to certain points on the map with which to overcome an obstacle or gain a push.

The great trick seems to be that the temples will be generated procedurally and will expire. You will only have one chance to reach the end and get the relic. If you die on the way, you won’t be able to try again. If you go all the way and collect the best of the relics, the temple will be closed and it will become a personal trophy.

An idea of the most striking and fun that will land on Steam next June in Early Access format. It will be necessary to see if this time behind the game there is something more than a nice idea and an excellent CM.
