Fabio Quartararo has become the undisputed king of pole positions in MotoGP in 2021. At the Mugello Circuit he added the fourth in a row in six grand prix races held. Not even the almighty Ducati at home, with Pecco Bagnaia in the lead, nor the very long straight of the Tuscan track could prevent it. Of course, there is an exciting duel between the two for the race.

Before, in the morning, there was another protagonist. Like every Saturday when racing in Italy, the cameras turned to Valentino Rossi’s box in the third free practice to see his special helmet design for the weekend. On this occasion, #46 has been inspired by the lyrics of the song ‘ Nubi di ieri sul nostro domani odierno’ (Yesterday’s clouds above our today’s mornings) by the Italian comedy rock band Elio e le Storie Tese ( EelST) . At the top of the hull appears a huge cow and behind it the Torre de Scarperia, a clear tribute to the region of Tuscany for its food and art.
