Formula 1 is already facing its second half of the season (the 2022 course will consist of 22 grand prix and 11 have already been held), and the French GP, which arrives after a rest week, will be the penultimate prior to the summer break.

And before reaching the summer holidays, the teams continue fine-tuning their cars to close the first part of the championship with the best possible taste in the mouth.

This Thursday, while waiting for the drivers at the press conference and the ‘corralito’ and while making time for the action on Friday, our photographers have been able to discover various details of the cars prepared for the first day at Paul Ricard.

The highest temperatures of the 2022 season to date are expected for this weekend, in the midst of the heat wave that is hitting the entire European continent, so the teams are facing the challenge of pampering their cars so that they do not suffer excessively, and refrigerate each component as much as possible.

That will be one of the keys to the French Grand Prix, in addition to the high wear of the front tires to which the cars are usually subjected on this track.

And as you can see below, we have also been able to see the first images of the new nose that Mercedes will debut at the twelfth stop on the calendar, and of the floor that Ferrari only seems to mount on Charles Leclerc’s car. In those of the Cavallino , on the other hand, they continue to decide if Carlos Sainz uses a new engine and penalizes for the grid or if he keeps an already used unit.
