In North Rhine-Westphalia, an airplane crashes in the middle of the forest. Two people die.
Königswinter – A serious accident occurred in the Siebengebirge on Monday morning (11.10.2021). A small plane crashed near Königswinter, a small town in North Rhine-Westphalia. At least two people were killed, as the police reported.
So far it is unclear how this could have happened and whether there will be more fatalities. The area has been searched by rescue workers since the morning hours. The area was cordoned off over a large area. The place where the plane crashed is not far from the famous Löwenburg fortress ruins in the middle of the forest. (tu / dpa)
