0

According to reports, an AfD politician is suspected of having celebrated parties with prostitutes in the state parliament. He himself speaks of “lies”.

Schwerin – In the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania there are supposed to have been parties and “drinking bouts”, organized by an AfD member. According to media reports, it should be the parliamentary group leader Nikolaus Kramer. This was reported by the news magazine Spiegel – and refers to reports from the Nordkurier and Schweriner Volkszeitung newspapers.

According to the Schweriner Volkszeitung, the stumbling block was a Facebook post by AfD politician Thomas Kerl. Citing an anonymous letter, he reported that colleagues from the AfD parliamentary group were said to have been involved in parties in the state parliament, including in September 2021. Kerl also asked his audience to provide him with further information on the subject.

Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: “drinking bouts” and “scantily clad girls” in AfD parliamentary groups?

The Nordkurier reports that the said letter actually alludes to an AfD MP. According to this, the guards of the state parliament in Schwerin reported on “drinking bouts that are regularly organized at night in the parliamentary groups”, to which “lightly clad girls” were also invited. According to the report, guards are said to have observed the scenes via video cameras, the sender of which is apparently unknown.

Furthermore, it says in the letter that the security guards observed how the AfD MP had amused “with one or the other of these girls” in the plenary hall of the state parliament.

When asked by Spiegel, the AfD parliamentary group leader Kramer said that it was a matter of “defamation” and “lies”. In addition, the spread of the false information is a “pollution campaign” by Thomas Kerl against himself. Kramer suspected the motive in the statement was the ongoing process of expulsion from the AfD. Compared to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, an AfD spokesman also said that Kerl had been distributing videos on the Internet for some time that were harmful to the party.

According to the Nordkurier’s report, Kerl apparently has no evidence of the allegations other than the anonymous letter. Nevertheless, the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania determined, according to the news magazine Spiegel. The suspicion of trespassing is therefore in the room. (do)
