Our analysts Uri Puigdemont and Germán Garcia Casanova are trying to figure out what the MotoGP World Championship will be like, starting this weekend with the Qatar Grand Prix . A championship in which, finally, we will once again see the closest thing to the best version of Marc Márquez, absolute dominator of the category until his injury in the first race of 2020.

Since then, two new champions, Joan Mir and Fabio Quartararo, and a clearly rising Pecco Bagnaia have completely changed the rules of the game, in which young and talented drivers, leading completely different brands, will try to extend the drought of the great Honda leader.

Will he be able to return Márquez to the level that led him to win six of seven titles between 2013 and 2019 in an overwhelming way? Will Mir and Quartararo be able to fight for the championship again with Suzuki and Yamaha? Will Bagnaia be the man to make Ducati champion again after the last and only crown in 2007?

Undoubtedly a championship with four clear contenders with different bikes, and with the added incentive of the new generation of young riders who have been biting, such as the stellar grand prize winner Jorge Martín, the emerging Enea Bastianini or the talented Raúl Fernández.

The World Cup begins this week in Qatar and with it also begins the work of the teams in the renewals and signings, a market that is still open and that, without a doubt, will give more than one unexpected surprise because right now nobody doubts that that Pedro Acosta will be in MotoGP in 2023 and that the World Championship will have to make a place for him. And not just any place, mind you.
