In recent days, the Pokémon Home application has received an update to make it even easier to locate the Pokémon that are inside the boxes, but best of all, it has been accompanied by a gift to obtain two very special Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Shield, as we are going to tell you in the following guide.

How to get Bulbasaur and Squirtle Gigamax with the new update of Pokémon Home

As you can see, the gift that The Pokémon Company has wanted to offer is a Bulbasaur and a Squirtle that have the possibility of adopting their Gigamax form when they evolve into Venusaur and Blastoise, respectively.

The method to get hold of them is very simple, although you will only have time until June 30 , so you better not let it go too long before it is too late. To get them you just have to follow the following steps:

  • Open the menu of your edition
  • Click on the option ” Mysterious Gift
  • Once inside select ” Receive Mysterious Gift
  • Choose the option ” Receive via Internet
  • At that time it will be time to wait for the game to connect to the Internet, so make sure you have a connection
  • Then you will receive both Pokémon in your team or in one of the storage boxes

Once you have both, you will see that they have some special characteristics , such as their nature, since it is one carefully chosen taking into account their best statistics and movements, so both will come in handy if you want to use them in competitive battles. This is exactly how each of them will be:
