Polaroid Fotobar en The LINQ Las Vegas (Now Photo & Go)

0

Polaroid Photo Bar is now Photo & Go.

When you enter the Polaroid Fotobar (Photo & Go), you will look around you and realize how long it has been since you have seen a real image. I don’t mean those shiny things you see in magazines, I mean the real deal. I’m talking about the kind of images that contain memories and snapshots of moments in time that are frozen and ready to be viewed.

When was the last time you actually developed any of those images that you seem to take with your smartphone? Yes, I know you put them on Facebook for all to see, but when was the last time you had a printout of a special moment in your hand?

It’s been too long, but you don’t need to wait.

When you walk the LINQ in Las Vegas, you will see the High Roller and you will be tempted to go and take a ride, but you have to do something first.

  • You have to enter Photo & Go and create an account.
  • You have to take some pictures from your phone.
  • You have to choose the specials.
  • You have to make hard copies.
  • You have to keep some memories.

Does this seem difficult?

Go for a ride on the giant observation wheel and when you return to Photo & Go, they will have your images printed on thick cardstock that looks like an old school Polaroid. You will feel weird looking at the images in your hand instead of on a small screen. You will probably have them with you for a while and you will soon learn to love having the copies in print.

Part of the 100 best things to do in Las Vegas

Grab some magnets and put them on the fridge or buy one of the pretty boxes they offer at Photo & Go. Whatever you do, celebrate the art of taking pictures by doing something with those pictures.

What to expect at Polaroid Fotobar Las Vegas?
If you go upstairs, you can experience the Polaroid museum and all that history surrounding a time when people carried cameras that did not make phone calls. In fact, history suggests that cameras would spit out these pieces of paper with images on them. It’s strange to think that the “story” is really only a few years ago. Although we all carry a photo catalog with us on our smartphones, we don’t always do anything with them. The Fotobar will fix it.

The process is simple and it’s actually inexpensive to get some high-quality images on thick paper that is perfect for framing. You walk in and use their computers to access your images on your phone or social media sites and in a matter of minutes you have some great memories.
