As usual, the 2023 preseason will start just after the Valencia Grand Prix, the last on the calendar, which will be held from November 4 to 6 next. This year, following the recipe for reducing official training days , there will only be one day of rehearsals, which will be Tuesday the 8th, in which all the drivers will be, including those who change teams, after receiving the go-ahead to be able to do so. , and the only rookie in the premier class for next season, the Spaniard Augusto Fernández, who will ride with GasGas-Tech3.
After the Valencia test , MotoGP will go into vacation mode for the regular riders, while the testers will be able to continue doing private tests until December.
The 2023 preseason will return at the beginning of February , with the shakedown in Sepang, which test drivers and debutants will be able to attend, in this case only the aforementioned Fernández.
The curtain will rise for the rest of the drivers on February 10 at the same circuit. A month later the Portimao tests will arrive, where the 2023 season starts.
In total, the pilots will have six days of training divided into three tests . Once the season has started, the drivers will enjoy two days of official rehearsals after the Jerez and Misano Grand Prix.

Moto2 and Moto3 2023 pre-season and season test calendar
As far as Moto2 and Moto3 are concerned, the pre-season tests will begin with some private tests , but with all the teams and riders present, at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit
- Moto3: March 9 – 10
- Moto2: March 14 – 15
The official 2023 Moto2 and Moto3 pre-season tests will take place in Portimao, and during the season there will be two : one in Jerez and the other in Silverstone:
- March 17 to 19: Test in Portimao
- May 2: Test in Jerez
- August 7: Test at Silverstone
