Queen Elizabeth II’s health concerns continue to hit the headlines and concern is growing. How is the 95-year-old really doing?

London – Queen Elizabeth II (95) has only had to cancel a few appointments in her 69-year reign, but the worrying news from the palace has been increasing in recent weeks. Her rest period, medically ordered at the end of October, should only last two weeks, but her poor health still keeps the British monarch from her royal duties.

As Queen Elizabeth II focuses on her recovery, her closest circle of friends comes into the limelight. The senior royals around Prince Charles (73), Prince William (39) & Co. are taking on more and more tasks in the service of the crown to relieve the head of the royal family. Most recently they showed themselves to be a well-rehearsed team on Remembrance Sunday – a sight that Royal fans will probably see more often in the future.

As reported by the British Mirror, the palace is still exercising caution with regard to the Queen’s workload. No further public appearances are planned until the end of this year, and appointments are to be canceled in the months thereafter. According to a palace insider, the senior royals currently holding the position should welcome this decision: “The senior members of the family all agree that they should step in to help wherever they can and for as long as necessary. “ * 24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
