Do you want to keep your memory in perfect condition until you are 90 years old? Reading magazines and books , playing board games , doing pottery work, and participating in social events can reduce the risk of memory loss in old age by up to 50% . This is the conclusion reached by a group of American neuroscientists after studying the habits of more than 1,300 subjects.

Regarding television consumption, the data reveals that people who watch TV for less than seven hours a day have 50% less memory loss than those who spend more time in front of the screen.

The results "are exciting because it shows that aging is not a passive process ," says Yonas Geda, co-author of the research and neuropsychiatrist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, who will present all the details of his work at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Neurology to be held next April in Seattle (USA).
