I have come to see machine guns with a lower cadence than the constant launch of video games to the screen by Xbox. The Redmond E3 2021 conference has been spectacular and has left us a fantastic collection of works.
Although the spotlights tend to point to triple A and experiences with a huge budget behind, there is always room to look at the best of the indie section. That is the case of Replaced , the work of Sad Cat Studios that has amazed us. With a release scheduled for 2022 on Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC , this title will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one and it looks cool that way.
As you can see, Replaced takes us to the decaying futuristic city of Phoenix-City. A fantastic pixel art aesthetic, along with 2.5D graphics add that distinctive touch to the platforming and action work. In addition, the new generation consoles will enjoy a version optimized for them.
We will play as REACH, an artificial intelligence that has been trapped in a human body against its will. The story takes us to an alternative version of the 80s, in which society has been totally corrupted and decadence is in every street.
