'Retro City Rampage'. Un nuevo vistazo al trabajo de Brian Provinciano que destila amor por el píxel

It is being begged. A lot of. Too much. The last time we talked about Brian Provinciano’s work was at the end of May, and we did it to show a very crazy trailer. Everything seemed to indicate that ‘Retro City Rampage’ would come out shortly after, since that is how its official page gave us to understand with the “coming soon” sign, but we are at the gates of September and the thing is still in process. At least now Brian himself, through a pleasant interview on Destructoid, has released a pledge on the latest news about his little creature.

The most important is the one that refers to when it will go on sale, something that not even Brian himself knows with certainty, since he did not expect to take so long with this project, but everything seems to indicate that it will take place at the end of the year, last weeks of December, or early January, at the latest in February. Mainly, he emphasizes, between December 2011 and January 2012. And this for a video game that should have been out a long time ago. But at least it will come to us more complete than the indie developer Provinciano originally planned.

The platforms (Wii and Xbox 360) are maintained, through the WiiWare and Xbox Live Arcade services, reaching the latter first. Surprising, yes, that the WiiWare is maintained taking into account the decline in pace and quality that has suffered in recent months, quite worrying. Although it is appreciated that some do not forget him, of course.

We still do not know the price, but I think it will matter little considering the care with which it is being developed and the immense number of references it contains to retro classics from the eighties. Even movies, as we remember back in the day. Sold!
