Formula 1 fever has returned to its maximum splendor thanks to the presentations of the new single-seaters for the 2022 season and Daniel Ricciardo did not want to be left out of the show.
The Australian driver, who faces his second consecutive season as a McLaren driver, revealed today through a publication on social networks the design of the helmet that he will use throughout this year, which presents some modifications compared to the one he used last year.
The Australian pilot showed a helmet where orange and green colors predominate, although the highlight is in the upper part, a place that he has taken advantage of to send a message through the words Present and Momentum written in English.
“It’s about being present at all times,” Ricciardo said to explain the reason behind those two words.
“It’s so easy to get caught up in what’s to come, you get excited or you just always keep thinking about what’s to come. But it’s very important to be in the present, in the now and make those moments beautiful, that’s what It will give you strength to move forward with your goals.
The 2022 season will be Ricciardo ‘s second year as a McLaren driver after a 2021 where the Australian driver finished eighth in the drivers’ championship with worse-than-expected feelings. Although it is true that his victory in the Italian GP stands out, the first for the Woking team almost a decade later.
McLaren, for its part, will carry out tomorrow the presentation of its new single-seater for the next season of the highest category of motorsport, the MCL36 .
