The corona numbers are falling, but there are big regional differences. In the federal states, the incidence is lowest in Saxony-Anhalt and highest in Hamburg.

Berlin – Around every tenth district in Germany has not recorded a single corona case in the past seven days, according to the RKI. This is based on data from the Robert Koch Institute on Monday.

According to this, the 7-day incidence in 40 of 412 districts and urban districts recorded was 0. In another 45 districts, there was only one case each. It should be noted that late registrations may occur.

In just under 50 districts, the incidence was even higher than 10, with the Lichtenfels district in Bavaria bringing up the rear with 46.4. Among the federal states, the incidence is lowest in Saxony-Anhalt (1.9) and highest in Hamburg (10.0). The nationwide incidence – i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week – was given by the RKI on Monday at 5.6. dpa
