Paula Badosa ended a great day for the Spanish this Friday at Roland Garros. Javier Martí’s pupil jumped onto the track following the Asturian and came back against the Romanian Bogdan to get into the round of 16. Badosa took the victory with a score of 2-6, 7-6 and 6-4 in almost three hours of play. Her next rival will be Vondrousova, number 20 in the WTA. Serena Williams also reached the round of 16 after beating Collins 6-4 by double.
Zverev and Medvedev advance
On the other hand, Alexander Zverev beat Laslo Djere (6-2, 7-5 and 6-2) in three sets, in a match played at the Philippe Chatrier with the cover, since at some moments of the day the rain has made a presence in Paris this Friday.
